Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Juneau, AK, is seeking a Laboratory Phlebotomist to perform a full range of waived and moderate complexity testing and to support onsite daily operations.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Medical Lab Assistant Certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and yearly.
• 2 years experience in medical setting; MLA certification not required.
• Successful completion of in-house laboratory training post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy on all age groups and processes specimens.
• Maintains QC and follows accreditation guidelines.
• Maintains patient and laboratory records; provides coding for visits.
• Inventories and orders departmental supplies to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Other duties as assigned.
