Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Must have National Medical Lab Scientist Certification or obtain certification within three months of hire date.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy including patient preparation, specimen collection, and processing.
• Conduct laboratory analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunology; evaluate and document results.
• Support quality assurance activities, instrument maintenance, and documentation of quality controls.
• Provide training and competency assessments for new staff; assist in procedure development and form updates.
• Maintain and reconcile records for testing, billing, and communication with care teams.
