Job summary

Murdoch Mason Executive Search Group in Los Angeles is seeking a senior operations leader to run the on-the-ground Los Angeles operation for a growing, mission-driven pet services company. You will be close to teams, sites, and daily service, not a distant VP.

You will own staffing, workflow, budgets, and local SOPs, coaching frontline leaders, coordinating across locations, and building scalable processes that preserve care and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline teams in a multi-site, service-focused operation.
• Ability to build SOPs, training, KPIs, and management routines.
• Strong data-driven approach to improve labor, capacity, quality, and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operations across the Los Angeles market across multiple locations.
• Staffing, labor, capacity, workflow, and service execution across sites.
• Develop SOPs, training, shift handoffs, KPIs, and management routines.
• Own operating budgets and understand the financial drivers behind day-to-day decisions.
• Build frontline managers and create clear accountability.
• Solve problems spanning people, sites, logistics, and facilities.
• Scale operating model without adding bureaucracy.
