Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking an Account Executive to drive profitable, aggressive sales growth in the Greater LA area. You will manage plan and spec projects, build strong relationships with end users, contractors, and engineers, and guide opportunities from qualification through closing.

The role requires 5+ years in building automation sales, an ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings, and proficiency with CRM tools. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven success in plan & spec/construction sales.
• 5+ years in sales in the building automation field (Metasys preferred).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, & controls drawings.
• Understanding of building HVAC systems and the application of controls.
• Must embrace use of CRM tool for pipeline & activity management.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors, engineers, and ESCOs.
• Assist engineers with design and specs of control system applications.
• Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for control system projects.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely, on-budget project completion.
• Prepare scope of work proposals and present to engineers to communicate value proposition.
• Set meetings with customers and identify opportunities to sell Albireo Energy’s capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing and scope with contractors and end users.
• Provide sales support to ongoing installations and participate in meetings.
