Job summary

Albireo Energy in Portland seeks an Account Executive to drive profitable and aggressive sales growth across the Greater Portland area. You will develop relationships with end users, design/build contractors, consulting engineers, and owner accounts while promoting Albireo Energy's control system solutions.

The role requires reading mechanical and electrical drawings, managing projects with Operations, and delivering compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Proven success in plan & spec/construction sales.
• 5+ years of experience in sales in building automation (Metasys preferred).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical and controls drawings.
• Understanding of building HVAC systems and applications of controls.
• Experience using CRM for pipeline and activity management.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with end users, design/build contractors, mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, large owner accounts, and ESCOs.
• Assist consulting engineers with design and specifications of control system applications.
• Estimate material, labor and subcontractor costs for control system applications.
• Partner with Operations to ensure timely, on-budget project completion and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare technical scope of work proposals and presentations for consulting engineers.
• Set meetings with customers, identify opportunities and sell Albireo Energy's capabilities.
• Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with contractors and end users.
• Provide sales support to ongoing new installations.
• Attend sales meetings and training seminars.
• Team sell with other sales executives.
• Achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets.
• Track sales activities and forecast opportunities in CRM.
