Job summary

Referment is seeking a Learning and Development Program Operations Manager to lead a team of L&D coordinators and improve how learning programmes are delivered. The role blends people leadership with hands-on operational enhancement, and partners with colleagues focusing on generative-AI learning to translate ideas into well-run initiatives.

You’ll strengthen processes, develop people, and coordinate initiatives across stakeholders while staying close to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and seven+ years in programme management, operations, or related field at manager level.
• Proven experience redesigning processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Hands-on experience applying generative-AI tools to improve workflows, content development, or productivity.
• Experience managing and developing people with excellent organisation, project management and delegation skills.
• A versatile PMO leadership or workforce innovation background with broad operational scope.
• Product management experience or treating internal services as a product is highly desirable.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence working with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop L&D coordinators, setting clear priorities, delegating effectively, giving constructive feedback and supporting their professional growth.
• Partner with the generative-AI learning team to plan and execute initiatives, ensuring resources are available and sessions run smoothly.
• Identify manual and time-intensive L&D processes, redesign them for measurable efficiency and scalability using tools like Mural, Forms, Loop and Planner.
• Encourage practical adoption of generative-AI tools within team workflows to improve content development, research and admin efficiency.
• Keep complex, multi-stakeholder programmes on track by anticipating risks and dependencies, resolving delivery issues and communicating with senior stakeholders.
