Job summary

HonorHealth in Mesa, AZ is seeking a registered nurse for night shift in Labor & Delivery to supervise, assess, plan, and coordinate care for stroke patients and ensure staff development. You'll work with physicians to implement the medical plan of care and maintain unit standards.

The role requires a BSN, AZ RN license, and at least 2 years in high-volume labor settings; BLS certification; magnet standards within 1 year.

Qualifications

• BSN from an NLN/CCNE-accredited program.
• Arizona RN license required.
• Stroke education requirements addendum referenced.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in high-volume labor setting.
• BLS certification required; magnet standards training within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, coordinates and evaluates patient care and staff development.
• Incorporates the organization's vision, values, mission into performance.
• Assists Clinical Director in management of unit's staff and patient population.
• Provides direct patient care and collaborates with physicians to execute medical plan.
• Promotes quality improvement and education; coordinates interdepartmental collaboration.
