Responsibilities

• The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operates medical equipment, administers treatment and medications, and assists with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
• The RN establishes and contributes to a patient care plan, administers medications with careful dosage checks, and manages IV lines for fluids and medications.
• The RN explains post-treatment and home care needs to patients and families, including diet, nutrition, and exercise programs, and teaches self-management of therapies.
