Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a registered nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit-2N/2S in Mesa, AZ. The role is day shift with 0700-1930 hours and offers a bonus of up to $10,000. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Required are RN licensure in Arizona, BLS certification, and experience in med-surg or acute care. BSN preferred; ASN/Diploma acceptable with time to achieve BSN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Associate or Diploma in Nursing required
• Complete BSN within 60 months or have 5+ years RN experience at hire time

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data, develop care plans based on assessments and nursing standards.
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, and document care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Mentor staff and participate in precepting new hires.
