Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Learning and Development Manager to coach Guides and advance Alpha's unique coaching model across campuses. The role centers on developing leaders who guide students through resilience, leadership, and life skills, rather than traditional instruction.

Career growth comes with managing cohorts, coaching performance, and maintaining high standards in a fast-moving EdTech environment. Campus presence in multiple US locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or related field.
• Experience leading an ongoing team of five or more adults with performance-based decisions.
• Experience building or growing a program, team, school, business, or initiative.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Guides to deliver Alpha's coaching model with consistency and high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops covering communication, focus, feedback, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students.
• Use performance data to identify coaching opportunities and drive improvements weekly.
• Lead motivation sessions to help students set and achieve ambitious goals.
• Maintain your own student cohort and model coaching excellence and accountability.
