Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Learning and Development Manager to coach Guides and build a coaching culture across campuses in Dallas, OKC, Austin, and Fort Worth. You will lead life skills workshops and use performance data to drive improvements, coaching students to reach ambitious goals.

You will manage your own student cohort while modeling high standards and accountability to help young people grow beyond classroom boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or related field.
• Experience leading an ongoing team of five or more adults, with performance-based decisions.
• Proven ability to use performance metrics to diagnose problems, prioritize actions, and deliver measurable results.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build a coaching culture where Guides develop students who love school, master academics, and build resilience.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops covering communication, focus, feedback, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students.
• Use student and Guide performance data to identify coaching opportunities, remove barriers, and drive measurable improvements weekly.
• Lead motivation sessions that help every student take ownership of ambitious goals and achieve them.
• Maintain your own student cohort while modeling coaching excellence and accountability.
