Job description

We are looking for professional remote interpreters who want to join an international company and be a great help to the community.

An Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) at Future Group Translation and Localization Services provide accurate communication between English native speakers and speakers of your native language during calls. They offer exclusive services across various fields and industries, ensuring transparency during conversations.

Interpreters at Future Group are linguistic experts, quick thinkers regarding the information discussed during calls, and renowned for their high tolerance, accuracy, and expertise.

Requirements

Your background and experience:

• Fluent in English and native in your target language.
• Over 1 year of interpretation experience in a reputable company is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not mandatory.
• Awareness of legal terminology is a plus.
• Certifications in healthcare (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are a plus.
• High school diploma in your native language.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.
• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills.

Technical requirements:

This position is fully remote. Your home office setup must meet the following:

• Internet: Dedicated, high-speed, private, and secure connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload speeds. Wired Ethernet connection only (Wi-Fi not permitted).
• Systems: Windows 10 or higher, with a dual-core 2 GHz processor (e.g., Intel Core i5 or better), and at least 8 GB RAM.
• Equipment: A single device (computer or laptop) capable of running the required systems. No external devices like cell phones or tablets are allowed. External monitors and connectors are permitted if applicable. The device must operate in high-performance mode, plugged into power, and not on battery. Chromebook or Mac are not allowed.
• Headphones: Noise-canceling, wired headset with a built-in microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth). The microphone should stay in place once adjusted. No 3.5mm adapters or wireless headsets are permitted.
