We are hiring French-Spanish OPI/VRI Interpreters

We are looking for professional remote interpreters to join an international company and serve the community. Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) at Future Group Translation and Localization Services facilitate accurate communication between non-Spanish and Spanish speakers during calls, ensuring transparency and professionalism.


Interpreters are linguistic experts, quick thinkers, and known for their accuracy, tolerance, and expertise.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Security Clearance (we assist in obtaining if needed)
  • Citizenship or Green Card

Your Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
  • Take notes during calls as needed.
  • Familiarize with industry-specific terminology, especially in healthcare and medical fields.
  • Render messages accurately, completely, and impartially.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Facilitate communication between Limited Spanish Proficient speakers and clients.
  • Participate in professional training and pursue certifications.
  • Communicate and report to team leaders.
  • Follow dress code for video interpreting.

Your Background and Experience:

  • Fluent in Spanish and native in French.
  • At least 1 year of over-the-phone interpretation experience.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Legal terminology knowledge is a plus.
  • Certifications like PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA are advantageous.
  • High school diploma in your native language.
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.
  • Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills.

Technical Requirements:

As this role is remote, ensure your home office meets these specs:
  • Dedicated high-speed internet (min 10 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload)
  • Wired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted)
  • Windows 10 or higher, dual-core 2 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM
  • Single device (no external devices like phones or tablets)
  • External monitors if needed
  • High-performance mode, power adapter plugged in
  • Noise-cancelling wired headset with microphone (no Bluetooth)
