We are hiring Spanish-Albanian OPI/VRI Interpreters

We are looking for professional remote interpreters to join an international company and serve the community.

An Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) at Future Group Translation and Localization Services facilitate accurate communication between non-Albanian and Albanian speakers during calls. They provide exclusive services across various fields and industries, ensuring transparency and accuracy during conversations.

Interpreters are linguistic experts, quick in processing information, and known for their high tolerance, accuracy, and professionalism.

Must Have Requirements:

• Security Clearance (if not available, assistance will be provided to obtain it)
• Citizenship or Green Card

Your Responsibilities:

• Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be prepared to take notes during calls.
• Familiarize yourself with industry-specific vocabulary, especially in healthcare.
• Render messages accurately and completely, without additions or omissions.
• Provide excellent customer service during interpreting.
• Facilitate communication between limited Albanian proficiency clients and the company, maintaining standards of practice.
• Participate in professional training and seek new certifications.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Follow dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

Your Background and Experience:

• Fluent in Albanian and native in Spanish.
• At least 1 year of over-the-phone interpretation experience with a reputable company.
• Good knowledge of medical terminology.
• Legal terminology awareness is a plus.
• Healthcare industry certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are advantageous.
• High school diploma in your native language.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.
• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills.

Technical Requirements:

As this role is fully remote, your home office setup must meet the following:

• Dedicated high-speed, secure internet (minimum 10 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload).
• Wired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted).
• Windows 10 or higher, with a dual-core 2 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM.
• Single device (no external devices like phones or tablets).
• External monitors and connectors if applicable.
• Operate in "High Performance" mode, with power adapter plugged in.
• No Chromebooks.
• Use noise-canceling wired headset with a built-in microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth).
