Job summary

A Leading Logistics Company in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Korean bilingual Import Coordinator to support its Import Team. This 100% onsite role focuses on handling import documentation, carrier communications, and end-to-end shipment coordination.

The ideal candidate has an associates degree or higher, 1+ years in customer service and logistics, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Korean language is mandatory, and U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (minimum) and Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in customer service (preferred).
• 1+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, control, and distribute air and ocean import documentation in a timely fashion to appropriate parties (delivery orders, arrival notice, etc.).
• Ensure system information matches actual documentation.
• Communicate with air and ocean carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery of freight.
• Mediate delivery requirements and shipment tracking between customers, truckers, brokers, warehouses, and vendors to ensure proper delivery.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of import documentation.
• Act as an operational liaison with customer to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Coordinate truck deliveries with dispatch team.
• Handle order fulfillment operations, billing, and customer service functions in a timely manner.
