Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Knowledge Modeler / Ontologist to drive domain ontology design, governance, and delivery for enterprise knowledge graph initiatives. You will bridge business stakeholders, data engineering, and AI/ML teams to transform complex domains into standards-based semantic models.

Hybrid role with travel and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Minimum 5 years in ontology engineering and a Bachelor's in a relevant field are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in ontology engineering or semantic web.
• Experience delivering domain ontologies in enterprise or consulting contexts.
• Excellent ability to translate business concepts into machine-readable semantics.

Responsibilities

• Lead ontology design, development, validation, and deployment lifecycle.
• Develop T-Box and hydration patterns across data sources.
• Apply naming conventions, URI strategies, and modular architecture.
• Collaborate with NLP, data engineering, and business SMEs.
• Create knowledge graphs to enable reasoning and analytics.
