You will collaborate with SMEs and engineers to ensure OWL/RDF/SKOS standards and governance are applied, enabling scalable data integration and analytics across projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ontology engineering in enterprise contexts.
• Experience delivering domain ontologies for business needs.
• Strong communication with business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with upper ontologies and alignment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Design T-Box structures and hydration patterns across structured and unstructured data sources.
• Apply naming conventions, URI strategies, and modular ontology architecture principles.
• Apply advanced modeling patterns (e.g., reification, n-ary relations) with senior input.
• Create and evolve ontologies, taxonomies, and vocabularies using OWL, RDF, RDFS, SKOS.
• Map relational data structures into semantic frameworks.
• Build and maintain knowledge graphs to support reasoning and analytics.
• Ensure models align with governance, regulatory, and business goals.
• Coach SMEs in developing competency questions to guide ontology scope.
