Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, seeks an experienced Systems Application Analyst to support Navy Warfare Development Center operations in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on guiding the Knowledge Management program, ensuring knowledge is captured, governed, shared, and maintained to enhance operational effectiveness and training across assigned areas.

Qualifications

Five years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; three years with a Master's.
Experience developing KM programs within technology-focused organizations or government environments.
Experience implementing and supporting SharePoint-based knowledge and collaboration solutions.
Experience developing web resources using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of knowledge lifecycle management and information governance.
Ability to translate requirements into KM processes and technical solutions.
Experience communicating with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and improve the enterprise Knowledge Management framework and governance.
Lead KM initiatives and guide KM team members and stakeholders.
Identify, capture, organize, and assess organizational knowledge assets.
Design and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows.
Develop web KM resources using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Apply UX principles to improve accessibility and usability of knowledge resources.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align KM with processes and training.
Promote KM platforms and processes to encourage knowledge sharing.
Establish content lifecycle governance and ensure information accuracy.
Support KM training, documentation, and best practices.
Identify barriers to KM adoption and develop improvement strategies.
Evaluate emerging technologies for search, collaboration, and knowledge discovery.
Communicate KM success stories and lessons learned.
