Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience; 4 additional years considered in lieu of degree.
• Hands-on experience administering or developing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, including automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, Power Query, DAX, dashboard/report development, and data validation.
• Experience with Power Apps, APIs and data integration, Databricks or other BI/data platforms, and enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IM/KM technical expert for HQ J1 across classified and unclassified networks, leading design and sustainment of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and performance measures to deliver command-level manpower analytics and hiring metrics.
• Integrate, cleanse, and validate manpower data from ServiceNow, FMTS, JTD, and other sources; define data connections and API requirements.
• Build automated workflows and low-code solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA) to eliminate manual processes and standardize HR activities.
• Analyze J1 business processes, map and test workflows, and implement measurable improvements that increase transparency and efficiency.
• Develop SOPs, governance and training materials, and data dictionaries; brief findings to senior leaders and represent J1 in IM/KM and data analytics groups.
