Job summary

Magnit Direct Sourcing, on behalf of Toyota, seeks a Knowledge Management Specialist for a 6-month contract in Plano, TX. You’ll improve AKARI, My Toolbox, and SharePoint-based knowledge sources by shaping taxonomy, metadata, governance, and searchability to empower employees.

You will partner with stakeholders, lead training and onboarding, and manage content lifecycles while configuring SharePoint Online. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in knowledge management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in knowledge management or related field.
• Experience configuring and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and metadata.
• Knowledge of taxonomy, search fundamentals, and content governance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge management practices that support business needs and improve user experience.
• Assess content with inventories, audits, and gap analyses to improve quality and usability across AKARI and My Toolbox.
• Apply taxonomy, metadata, ownership, review cadence, version control, naming standards, and lifecycle practices.
• Work with SMEs to translate complex information into clear guides, SOPs, training materials, and support content.
