Job summary

Q2impact in Washington, DC is seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to support the National Guard Bureau’s enterprise Knowledge Management Program. The KMA will develop, maintain, and optimize the Knowledge Management System (KMS) to improve decision-making and mission readiness across all states and territories.

You will work at the intersection of governance, metadata, user experience, and enterprise collaboration, helping capture knowledge, govern content, and deliver training and analytics

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of enterprise KM experience including lifecycle, governance, taxonomy, and content stewardship.
• Possess one of the following certifications: KM Institute (KMI) - Certified Knowledge Manager or APQC Certified Knowledge Manager or US Army KM Qualification Course.
• BA or higher in Organizational Learning or Library Science; proficiency with SharePoint Online 365 and content lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting KM governance structures and cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the Knowledge Management System (KMS) aligned with KM governance and enterprise collaboration needs.
• Design content types, metadata schemas, taxonomy structures, and workflow automation within the KMS.
• Coordinate with ESSRs and platform engineers to implement KM-aligned technical solutions.
• Lead content governance, ingestion, publication, lifecycle monitoring, audits, and retention alignment.
• Capture knowledge through interviews, AARs, and lessons-learned sessions and translate into reusable knowledge products.
• Provide user training, create job aids and SOPs, and support enterprise adoption of KM processes.
• Monitor KMS usage, produce dashboards and analytics, and drive improvements for governance leadership.
