Job summary

Paul Hastings, LLP is seeking a Knowledge and Innovation Attorney to lead knowledge management, AI enablement, and practice innovation for the M&A and Private Equity groups. The role collaborates with practice chairs, the Chief Innovation Officer, and Talent Development to drive adoption of AI tools and advanced knowledge resources.

The KIA will shape core knowledge assets, develop playbooks, and oversee data capture to enhance client service and business development across global offices.

Qualifications

• Law degree with bar admission in applicable jurisdiction.
• At least 5 years as an M&A and Private Equity practitioner.
• Experience in knowledge management and legal innovation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain model documents, forms, templates, and checklists for Assigned PGs.
• Organize precedents and knowledge assets for easy search and AI-enabled use.
• Assess knowledge needs and implement plans to address them.
• Monitor legal developments and contribute to client alerts and presentations.
• Capture and maintain matter data to support client service and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate on training and share best practices across the KIA team.
