Job summary

Accenture seeks an experienced Knowledge Modeler / Ontologist to lead ontology design, governance, and delivery for enterprise knowledge graph initiatives. You will bridge business stakeholders, data engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate domain concepts into rigorous semantic models powering intelligent applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ontology engineering, knowledge modeling, or a closely related semantic web discipline.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience delivering domain ontologies in an enterprise or consulting context.
• Bachelor’s in Information Science, Computer Science, Library Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Lead the full ontology lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Design T-Box schemas and contribute to A-Box hydration patterns across data sources.
• Create and evolve ontologies, taxonomies, and vocabularies using OWL, RDF, RDFS, and SKOS.
• Map relational data into semantic models and build knowledge graphs for reasoning and analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineering, NLP, and business SMEs on ontology governance.
