Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own ontology design, governance, and delivery across enterprise data initiatives. You will guide semantic modeling, establish architecture standards, and oversee cross-functional teams spanning business, data engineering, and AI/ML disciplines.

Role emphasizes collaboration with NLP/AI squads, ensuring alignment with regulatory and governance policies while driving scalable knowledge graph programs across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years hands-on ontology engineering, knowledge modeling, or related semantic discipline.
• Experience owning production-grade ontologies in enterprise or large-scale consulting environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical standards, roadmap ownership, and stakeholder-facing estimation.
• Strong collaboration with business and technical stakeholders in Agile/delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ontology lifecycle from requirements to long-term stewardship.
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and URI/versioning strategy.
• Lead governance, review processes, and quality gates for ontology deliverables.
• Lead SME workshops to elicit domain concepts and align with business goals.
• Partner with NLP/AI teams to integrate ontology-guided workflows and features.
