Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Knowledge & Enablement Lead to own frameworks and governance for risk operations documentation, learning, and vendor training across Mercury’s BPO partners as we scale toward bank readiness.

You will set standards, manage a vendor content team, and drive adoption through enablement practitioners embedded on other teams, while maintaining a systems-focused approach rather than a purely writing task.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in knowledge management or enablement/L&D.
• Experience in regulated financial services or fintech environments.
• Hybrid skill set spanning knowledge management and enablement to design systems and training/certification programs.
• Experience designing KM, training, and certification programs for BPO/outsourced teams.
• Experience leading a team or vendor-delivered group with strong cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Own the knowledge framework and architecture for canonical risk-operations procedures.
• Set policy, procedure, and documentation standards; enable business risk to build controls from them.
• Govern adoption, review cadence, and audit-readiness of documentation; manage quality.
• Directly manage a vendor-based content writers team and shape their capabilities.
• Define enablement requirements for practitioners embedded across risk programs.
• Architect training and certification systems for vendor delivery, including milestone curricula.
• Define and report metrics showing program improvements and impact on performance.
• Enable cross-skilling across risk programs and BPO operations.
