Job summary

RMF, a specialized MEP engineering firm with 12 offices in the eastern US, seeks a Knowledge Manager Specialist to own Deltek Vantagepoint data across projects, clients, employees, and business development.

You will control data quality, apply standardized conventions, audit records, support proposals and reporting, and train staff on database processes. Salary range $70,000–$80,000 annually; full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Desire to engage in business systems and process improvement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Content management systems; CMS experience preferred.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM/data platforms.
• Experience with RFP processes and business development a plus.
• Experience in engineering, architecture, or professional services firms preferred.
• Knowledge of project-based business operations and development processes.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards; data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain project, client, contact, employee, and pursuit information in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Review and update records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Establish and maintain standardized naming conventions and data entry procedures.
• Monitor databases for duplicates and outdated records, perform cleanups.
• Process project setups, client updates, employee information, and changes.
• Audit for missing or inconsistent information and resolve issues with managers.
• Maintain documentation of data management procedures and workflows.
• Assist with data validation for proposals, project tracking, and BD activities.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; serve as data resource.
