Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Knowledge Management Attorney specializing in Insurance and Intellectual Property. You will create, organize, and promote knowledge resources, models, and forms, and lead KM initiatives across Insurance + Reinsurance, Transactional + Regulatory, IP, and Privacy + Cyber groups.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum five (5) years of law firm experience in Insurance + Reinsurance Litigation, Insurance Transactional + Regulatory, IP, and Privacy + Cyber practice groups.
• Proven experience with knowledge management tools and technologies such as databases, intranets, portals, search engines, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded KM expert for assigned practice groups.
• Own and lead curation of knowledge artifacts in KM database.
• Develop, implement, maintain KM strategies and systems for assigned groups.
• Create and maintain model documents, precedents, drafting guidance, and practice area resources.
• Capture user feedback to improve KM tools and processes, including DMS and intranet.
• Identify knowledge gaps and curate targeted attorney contributions.
• Plan and execute KM innovation projects with measurable ROI.
• Collaborate with KM leadership to evaluate and implement new technologies.
• Champion technology adoption and change, driving engagement with KM programs.
• Develop training materials and deliver demonstrations to support adoption.
• Maintain confidentiality of firm, attorney, and client information.
