Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dependable utility worker for a 10am–6pm shift in Libertyville, IL. You will wash dishes, sweep and mop, and keep a clean, safe kitchen environment while following food safety rules.

This role offers guaranteed hours with no nights or weekends, daily lunch provided, uniforms and PPE, and opportunities for advancement within our family-owned food service management company.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Able to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; maintain clean work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with department dress code.
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
