Job summary

Taher, a family-owned food service management company, is hiring a utility worker for day hours in Minnesota. The role involves dishwashing, floor cleaning, and general kitchen support to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with a team to maintain hygiene and safety standards. The position offers guaranteed hours with no nights or weekends, competitive compensation with bonus opportunities, and benefits such as free daily lunch and provided uniforms.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods and maintain hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers and receptacles as required.
• Transport trash to designated areas and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Assist team members and maintain safe work station.

Utility worker, day hours. No nights! No weekends!

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
