Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Utility worker to wash dishes and perform basic kitchen cleaning. This role offers flexible hours and a free meal per shift, with on-site duties in our Illinois location.

You will handle dishwashing, floor cleaning, trash disposal, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation while following all food safety guidelines and company procedures. All shifts are available, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical tasks.
• Stand for long periods while performing duties.
• Punctual, dependable and ready to work.
• Adheres to food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; maintain clean environment.
• Assists other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with dress code.
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
