Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a utility worker for day hours with no nights or weekends. You will wash dishes, sweep and mop, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in collaboration with the leadership team.

Responsibilities include handling trash procedures, moving supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for advancement in a growing nationwide food service company.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with department dress code.
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
