Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a reliable Utility Worker to join our kitchen team in a daytime shift. The role involves dishwashing, floor cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary, organized workspace. You will follow food safety guidelines and work closely with teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Guaranteed hours with no nights or weekends; uniforms and PPE provided, with opportunities for advancement within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required.
• Transport trash to designated areas and maintain sanitation.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas; maintain clean environment.
• Assist other team members as needed; be on time.

Utility worker 10am - 6pm

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
