Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a utility worker to wash dishes, clean kitchens, and support daily meal service. The role offers flexible hours and a free meal per shift, with opportunities for advancement in a chef-driven food service management company.

Essential duties include washing and stocking, maintaining sanitary conditions, and assisting the team while adhering to safety protocols. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $17.00 per hour, with uniforms and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Must follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods; work in a kitchen environment.
• Be punctual and dependable, follow safety rules.
• Pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans and utensils by hand or dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers and trash receptacles as required.
• Transport trash to designated areas and handle storage safely.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas; keep area clean.
• Assist team and maintain personal hygiene; follow dress code.
• Be on time and maintain assigned workstation.

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
