Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Utility Worker for a 10am–6pm shift. You will scrape, wash, and put away dishes, sweep and mop floors, and keep areas clean and sanitary. You will follow food safety rules, assist teammates, stay on schedule, and contribute to a safe kitchen environment. Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able work in standing position for long periods of time.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required.
• Transports supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; maintain clean work environment.
• Assists other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.

Utility worker 10am - 6pm

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
