Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) for its Port Townsend community restaurant. You will help ensure clean pots and dishware for residents’ meals, supporting the culinary team in daily operations.

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing items; maintaining the dishwashing area; lifting up to 50 pounds; and assisting during peak service with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing or kitchen support is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to protocols.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area including floors.
• Promptly remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails; sanitize prep surfaces as needed.
• Support kitchen staff by replenishing supplies and equipment.
• Resupply chemicals, towels, and soap dispensers for sanitary operations.
