Cogir Senior Living is hiring a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) for our Seattle-area community. You will help ensure our culinary team has clean pots and dishware to deliver meals to residents.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced setting, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. Previous kitchen experience and a Food Handler Card are a plus, with competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure items are properly dried and stored.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors.
• Promptly remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep the kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Clean and sanitize food prep surfaces and storage areas as needed.
• Support kitchen staff during meal preparation by replenishing supplies.
• Resupply chemicals, towel dispensers, and soap dispensers for sanitary operations.
