Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.

The role involves producing across the kitchen, helping with catering, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness in a busy school dining environment. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, following the menu and Opaa! recipes, and operating kitchen equipment with proper certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at the required temperature.
• Prepare foods according to the menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day's menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Serve items with proper serving sizes and hospitality.

Education
