Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a kitchen associate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, set up serving lines, and assist with catering functions. You will follow established recipes, maintain food temperatures, and keep the kitchen clean and organized.

The role involves batch cooking, inventory control, and basic cash handling as part of daily cafeteria operations. This position supports compliance with safety standards and company core values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic math and counting skills for meal transactions and POS handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per menu and batch cook to maintain quality and presentation.
• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain FIFO inventory, keep coolers organized, and restock items as needed.
• Handle customer monies, run cash register or POS as required, and complete daily paperwork.
