Dash In in Newark, DE is seeking part-time Kitchen Team Members for a fast-paced, chef-inspired food concept in a 24/7 retail environment. You will join a Back of House team preparing meals, ensuring food safety, keeping stations organized, and delivering a welcoming guest experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of food service, and the ability to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends. Training and certification may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience
• Customer service experience
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards to craft meals
• Monitor prep levels to ensure freshness and readiness to serve
• Restock, organize, and keep prep stations tidy and efficient
• Receive deliveries and place items in proper storage areas
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and overall appearance of the BOH area
• Engage with guests to provide a personalized dining experience
• Operate food service equipment (deep fryers, slicers, etc.)
• Use proper lifting techniques handling containers weighing 50–65 pounds
