DIG INN Chefs-In-Training in New York will hire entry-level cooks to join our scratch-based kitchens. You’ll earn $17-18/hour depending on experience, plus $2-3/hour in tips, with additional benefits and opportunities to learn across stations and develop leadership in a fast-paced culinary environment.

You will prep, cook, and plate, gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery, and help guests with menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• Passion for real, good food and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks as required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains, etc. following recipes and taste.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and more.
• Explain menu offerings and seasonality to guests while creating scratch-made meals.
• Support team during peak and off-peak service, pitching in as needed.
• Adhere to food safety standards and maintain a clean, organized station.
