Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to train, supervise and work with all kitchen staff to prepare, cook and present food according to hotel standard recipes, ensuring quality food products.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, assisting the Executive Chef with personnel matters, training staff, scheduling, cost and quality control, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Self-starting, even disposition, professional appearance.
• Thorough knowledge of standard recipes and proper preparation.
• Ability to supervise, coach, train and discipline employees as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign detailed duties to associates under supervision for efficient operation.
• Assist Executive Chef with personnel functions (interviews, training, evaluations, discipline).
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper preparation of menu items.
• Schedule culinary staff to ensure proper coverage and payroll control.
• Communicate clearly to staff in writing and verbally.
