The Habit in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader who can train and supervise BOH staff while upholding safety and quality. You will oversee Fryer, Broiler, Make-up, Quarterback, and Lead Cook stations, drive food and labor cost controls, and ensure health and safety standards are followed.

The ideal candidate has two years of related experience, a Food Manager or ServSafe certificate, strong leadership and English communication, and flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related food service position preferred.
• Food Manager Certificate and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard and leads by example in all kitchen functions.
• Coach BOH Team Members and train Cooks.
• Oversee all kitchen stations and ensure food safety standards.
• Control food and labor costs to meet targets.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and weekly planning.
