Job summary

The Habit seeks a Kitchen Team Leader to set the standard in the Back of House, overseeing stations such as Fryer, Broiler, Make-up, Quarterback, and Lead Cook. You will train Cooks, help control food and labor costs, and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.

You will work with the management team to meet sales goals and deliver the Habit difference in every shift. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related food service position preferred.
• Food Manager Certificate and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard and lead by example in all kitchen functions and responsibilities.
• Provide direction and coaching to BOH Team Members.
• Able to perform all kitchen stations, including preparation and cooking of all food items.
• Ensure SOPs are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items.
• Assist with opening and closing of the restaurant and training of BOH staff.
• Assist with managing food and labor costs to meet sales goals.
