Job summary

The Habit is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to set the standard across fry, broiler, makeup, quarterback, and lead cook stations. You will train cooks, help control food and labor costs, and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.

You’ll work closely with the management team to optimize operations, meet sales goals, and deliver the Habit difference by serving fresh, delicious meals with consistent service for every guest.

Qualifications

• 2 years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Food Manager Certificate and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set standard and leads by example in all kitchen functions.
• Provide direction and coaching to BOH Team Members.
• Able to perform all stations in the kitchen, including preparation and cooking of all food items.
• Ensure standard operational procedures are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items.
• Assist with opening and closing of the restaurant by following checklists.
