Job summary

The GIANT Company in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a dedicated team member for our prepared foods/deli area. You will prepare sandwiches, pizzas, roast chicken, and other deli items, following plan-of-gram (POG) and standard operating procedures to merchandise products accurately.

Responsibilities include food safety, equipment operation, cleaning, inventory checks, customer assistance, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced, full-service grocery environment that puts customers first.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meets ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Able to meet performance standards including regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule, prep equipment and PPE at shift start.
• Production planning and execution for deli items.
• Complete invoice review for inventory and ordering where applicable.
• Produce product for the sales floor per POG and SOP.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Maintain daily food safety compliance logs and track loss (KLT).
• Train team members and assist customers with deli selections.
• Prepare sandwiches, subs, wraps, pizzas; serve and label items per SOP.
• Wrap and label chicken and other roasted items; maintain displays.
