Job summary

The GIANT Company in Harrisburg, PA, is hiring for a full‑time deli team member responsible for preparing sandwiches, pizza, and hot bar items per plan‑o‑gram and SOP. You will label, merchandise, and stock the cases while ensuring food safety and quality throughout your shift.

You will assist customers, portion deli items, and support various programes including grab‑and‑go and smoked products, while maintaining clean workspaces and following PPE and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare with required PPE and supplies.
• Produce deli items (sandwiches, subs, wraps), pizza, and appetizers per SOP and plan‑o‑gram.
• Label and merchandise products for the display cases and grab‑and‑go.
• Maintain food safety by cleaning surfaces, equipment, cases, floors and counters; complete safety logs.
• Assist customers, portion and pack deli items, and support the smoked program if applicable.
• Manage roasting and frying steps for chicken and other proteins per SOP.
• Maintain organized sales floor, order product, and support weekly circular planning.
