Job summary

The GIANT Company in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking team members for deli and prepared foods responsibilities. The role includes making sandwiches, subs, pizzas, and other deli items, labeling and merchandising per plan, and assisting customers on the shop floor.

You will follow SOPs, ensure safety, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked department. As a valued member, you will contribute to daily operations, support a fast-paced environment, train teammates, and participate in plan-o-gram

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Regular attendance and ability to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule, check equipment and PPE at shift start.
• Production planning and generating products for display per SOP.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, tools, cases, floors and counters.
• Maintain daily food safety compliance logs.
• Train team members and assist customers with deli items.
• Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and deli products per SOP and POST plan.
• Portion and label deli items for display and sale.
• Organize the sales floor and plan-o-grams as needed.
