Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member at our Middletown, PA location to prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli offerings, ensuring quality and food safety. Follow plan-o-gram (POG), stock cases, label, and merchandise while delivering friendly service to shoppers.

You will work as part of a store operations team, learning recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting hot bar and grab-and-go sections. Reliability, safety training, and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with company policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team.
• Exhibits strong food safety and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to work variable shifts and maintain regular attendance.
• Able to operate and learn kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prep for duties at shift start.
• Production planning and invoice review.
• Prepare deli items and display according to plan.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, tools, and equipment daily.
• Maintain food safety logs and track product loss.
• Train team members and assist customers.
• Prepare poultry and other hot bar items as required.
• Ensure compliance with SOP and PPE requirements.
