Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a dedicated team member to support deli and prepared foods operations at our PA location. You will prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and hot bar items, while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on the line.

You’ll help with display, labeling, and customer service, following SOPs and planograms. Responsibilities include weekly planning, inventory checks, and keeping work areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand Company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Regular attendance and ability to meet performance standards.
• Able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at the start of shift, prepare equipment and supplies, and follow PPE requirements.
• Produce sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli items per plan‑ogram and SOP.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, cases, floors, and counters.
• Maintain food safety logs and track loss (KLT).
• Train team members and assist customers with deli items as needed.
• Prepare and package products for display and sale, following SOP guidelines.
• Handle meat, poultry, and prepared foods with proper handling and labeling.
• Ensure proper rotation, stock, and merchandising of prepared foods and grab‑and‑go items.
