Job summary

PACS Group seeks a Dietary Aide to support daily kitchen operations in our facility. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving, and help maintain a clean, sanitary environment under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Monitor chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher at shift start.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Take out trash and garbage.
• Store groceries safely and neatly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation for shift end.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with personnel across departments.
